Laura began her insurance career in 1991 with State Farm. She served as a licensed customer service representative in personal and commercial lines as well as life and health. In 1998 she started her own agency with Nationwide Insurance in Muscle Shoals.
Laura and her husband, Rick, live in Russellville where they are active members of Calvary Baptist Church. They enjoy spending time with their children and being LaLa and Big Daddy to their three grandchildren, Rylin, Jax and Ayla.
